Selling a car in Morocco through an intermediary
In a brokerage model, the owner keeps ownership while the intermediary prepares the advert and enquiries under a clear written mandate.
Separate brokerage, purchase and trade-in
Brokerage means the owner keeps the car while an intermediary presents it and finds a buyer. Direct purchase and trade-in are different services and must never be implied when they are not actually offered.
Sign a simple mandate before publishing
Identify both parties and the vehicle, then record duration, advertised or net price, commission, authorised expenses, possession of keys and documents, and how the mandate can end.
- Verify ownership and permission to sell.
- Write the negotiation range and commission.
- Define payment and vehicle handover.
Create a factual advert
Use current photos, a clear price and an honest description of strengths, damage and unknown information. For an accident vehicle, photograph affected and surrounding areas without exposing unnecessary personal data.
Manage offers and close with evidence
Confirm availability before visits and transmit offers according to the mandate. Record the final price, commission, documents, payment and handover date; confirm current formalities with the relevant authority or professional.
